Set Accelerator Admixture

DESCRIPTION

Deltaset LS is a concentrated liquid for additon to portland cement to produce quick setting mortar.

USES

It produces quick setting, low shrinkage, high strength concrete patches. It can be used for sealing leakages and plugging of water through the concrete.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTION

Surface Preparation

Clean surface to be repaired or plugged from dirt oil or contaminant materials.

Mixing

Deltaset LS should be used with fresh portland cement. Actual initial and final setting time will vary with different brands of cement and job condition, tests with small quantities of cement to be used should be conducted on the job determine the proper dilution for desired setting time.

Application

As Waterplug

Plug the cement paste into crack or hole. Hold in place with hand, until it has hardened.

Dosage

As Waterplug

Typical dosage is 25-35% to cement weight.

As Mortar Admixture

Added to the mixing water. Dosage is about 2% to cement weight.

TECHNICAL DATA

LIMITATIONS

Containing chloride, not to be used for reinforced concrete.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

• Avoid contact with skin and eyes
• Wear protective gloves and eye protection during work
• If skin contact occurs, wash skin thoroughly
• If in eyes, hold eyes open, flood with warm water and seek medical attention without delay.

Deltaset LS is non-flammable material.
